I've decided to do an upgraded version of Maze Lab. Plans include:

improve the controls on the title & menus to use arrow keys.

improve the overall look of the title screen and menus.

simplify instructional info in the menus to make it clear to understand.

add item selection controls for use of simple controls in order to be compatible with controllers.

along with this overhaul, I may add to the game (maybe add a new item, or trap, not sure).

I may remove the "theme" selection and different maze themes. This is to create room for improvements.

The main "Sci Fi" theme will be the chosen theme. It was the original design inspired by vector graphics games.

Improve the Maze Lab editor program.
